About Me

Professional Writer, Editor, and Content Creator

I am a professional writer, editor, and creative content producer based in SoCal with Midwestern roots. I am passionate about sharing stories and ideas through writing and editing and can frequently be found seeking out convivial atmospheres and ebullient creatives. My work has been published on over 100 websites and digital platforms.

 

After graduating from the University of Iowa in 2008 with an English degree proudly clutched in hand, I forayed into the business world, starting as a technical writing intern for Global Reach Internet Productions. This began my five-year corporate life, which was heavily focused on IT, B2B innovation, and platform technologies. 

 

In 2013, upon realizing that there were some adventures too large to ignore and to spend time traveling and raising a new addition to the family, I left my marketing job to go full-time freelance. Since launching my solo career, I have helped numerous startups, established organizations, and public figures with content initiatives, in addition to diving into media assignments with national and regional publications, such as Milk, HEYMAMA, Lenny Letter, DSM Magazine, Iowa Architect Magazine, and Living Details. Other projects have included work with global influencers like Wacoal, KADE, Stylebuy, Nouvel Heritage, FORM Couture, Belle en Argent, Hudson George, Renaissance Marriott, Copy Gurus (London agency), Angi/Homeadvisor, and Americanflat.

 

These days you can find me taking on freelance assignments that fill my heart and contributing to Product Management & Design at Stride, Inc.
